Health Information Privacy Addendum

This document is for the use of PICA's business associates in accordance with the HIPAA Omnibus Rule the HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Enforcement Rules mandated by the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, which makes Business Associates of Covered Entities directly liable for compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules’ requirements and outlines requirements when there is a breach of the Protected Health Information (PHI).
